Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2026-06-29

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Travent (the "Service"), operated by Meged Solutions ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

2. Service Description

Travent is a calendar-sharing platform that lets users create, share, and follow event calendars ("Spaces"). Travent works on top of Google Calendar: when you create a Space, we create a dedicated, app-owned calendar inside your own Google account and read its events live to display them in Travent. Your event content (titles, descriptions, dates, times, locations, and attendees) lives in your Google Calendar - it is not copied to or stored on Travent's servers. The Service is provided for personal and non-commercial use.

3. User Accounts and Google Authorization

To use Travent you must sign in with your Google account through our authentication provider, Clerk. By signing in with Google you authorize us to receive basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture). To create and share Spaces, you grant the Google Calendar permissions 'calendar.app.created' (to create and manage calendars that Travent itself creates) and 'calendar.acls' (to share those calendars). Travent only accesses calendars it creates - it does not access, read, or modify your other Google calendars. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity under your Travent account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create through Travent. Because event content resides in your Google Calendar, your use of that content is also governed by Google's terms. To the extent you submit content that is stored by us (such as a Space name or description), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display that content within the Service for the purpose of operating it. You are solely responsible for your content and must ensure it does not violate any law or third-party right.

5. Content Responsibility Disclaimer

Travent enables Space owners to share event information with followers. Travent does not create, verify, or endorse any content shared through the Service. All content - including event details, descriptions, dates, and locations - is provided solely by Space owners and users, may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, and is the sole responsibility of the Space owner who publishes it. Travent assumes no liability for any damages, losses, or harm arising from reliance on user-generated content. Users should independently verify event information before acting on it.

6. Data Protection Roles and Your Responsibilities

For your account data (name, email, profile picture, timezone, your Spaces and subscriptions), Meged Solutions is the data controller, as described in our Privacy Policy. Where you create a Space and invite or accept followers, you are responsible for any personal data of third parties that you include in your events or Space (for example, names mentioned in event descriptions). For such data you act under your own responsibility and must: comply with the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (as amended by Amendment No. 13) and the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017, and, where applicable, the GDPR; collect and share only what is necessary and only for the purpose for which it was provided; not share it without a lawful basis or consent; and honor the rights of the individuals concerned to access, correct, and delete their data.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) upload or share harmful, offensive, or infringing content; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; (d) interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Service; (e) use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications; or (f) use the Service to process personal data in violation of applicable privacy law.

8. Intellectual Property

The Travent service, including its design, features, and original content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Privacy

Your use of Travent is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, which explain how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data, the legal bases for processing, and your rights under Israeli law and the GDPR. Please review them carefully.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease; deletion of your personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Calendars created in your Google account remain in your Google account and are managed by you there.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that event data fetched from Google Calendar will always be available.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meged Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service and updating the date above. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Ramla, Israel. This does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights available to you under the law of your country of residence.

15. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at Contact@Travent.ai.
